Earlier on Raising Hope Year 2 Episode 11 "Mrs. Smartypants", After Hope shows promising signs of being a baby genius, Jimmy becomes inspired to go back to school and get ready for the G. E. D. exam. But Jimmy is surprised to get his former high institution teacher, Mr. Swift, instructing the G. E. D. class, and continuing to give Jimmy a tough time in the classroom. Meanwhile, Burt and Virginia be concerned that Jimmy could get to be the smartest family member when he passed the examination, so they decide to look at the G. E. D exam too. But they soon realize they'll need all of the extra tutoring they will get.
On this week's Instance title "Gambling Again ", Gambling is a challenging habit to break any time Burt tries to win back all the Chances' stuffs that he lost decades ago, and Virginia and Jimmy are powerless to stop him as they also get caught up in the betting craze, but their addiction pops up to haunt them after they miss Hope starring within a play written by Sabrina and also directed by Shelley.
Raising Hope is a new television comedy program 1st aired on September 21, 2010, on Fox. The series airs on Tuesdays at 9: 30 pm. On January 10, 2011, Fox renewed Raising Hope for a second season, which premiered on Sept 20, 2011.
Following its first time of year, the show received two nominations with the 63rd Primetime Emmy Accolades. Martha Plimpton was nominated with regard to Outstanding Lead Actress within a Comedy Series and Cloris Leachman seemed to be nominated for Outstanding Guest Actress inside a Comedy Series. Plimpton also won this 2011 Satellite Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.
At 23 years aged, Jimmy Chance is proceeding nowhere in life. He skims pools for just a living, parties every night and still lives at home with his family, including his Maw Maw; his mother, Virginia; his father, Burt; and his cousin, Mike. Jimmy's life takes a drastic turn if a chance romantic encounter using Lucy goes awry once he discovers she is a wanted felon. Months later, when Jimmy pays a try to the local penitentiary, he discovers Lucy gave birth to their baby, who he is currently charged with raising. At home with his new daughter, Jimmy's family is a lot less than enthusiastic about a new addition towards household.
His parents, who had him if they were 15, never knew anything about raising children and have no interest in trying again. If Jimmy can work up the nerve to ask her on a date, he might get a few help from Sabrina, a sardonic checkout clerk he met with the supermarket. Cousin Mike is only concerned about how the baby could affect their social living, and out-of-touch Maw Maw is not any help either. But Jimmy is determined to keep up his baby - whom Virginia thinks they will name HOPE. With very few helpful skills but their hearts inside right place, will the Chance family become successful when they step in to the unpredictable and immensely challenging world of parenting?
